“ADVANCE PREPARATION FOR THE INTERVIEW QUESTIONS”

Interview is the most important final stage for all the PRs. So you have to make satisfy them. Always try to sell yourself. Make them to think you are the best, so they have to buy you. Although, it is difficult to guess the exact questions that may be asked during the interview, you can prepare yourself for some general questions in advanced. Generally questions relate to your family back ground, personnel interest, family interest, academicals achievements, general knowledge about the British Army, term and condition about the British Army, about your hobby, about your documents, current political situation, about your village and general questions related to the British Army. Questions are asked to observe your behavior under stressful conditions and to check your decision making ability. You have to verify the statements made by you so careful when you answer the questions.
NOTE:- Candidate must give natural answer on their own creation as far as applicable.

SOME GENERAL KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE BRITISH ARMY

       I.             Gurkha Regiment in the British Army.
     II.            Specially there are 5 Gurkhas regiments in the British Army besides GSPS and band of the brigade, they are as follows:-
1.     1 RGR and 2 RGR
This is an infantry regiment. They are fully well trained and operationally fit. They provide a security for the brigade in operation and peace. They can use various sophisticated modern weapons and accessories. One of the regiment always based in U.K and one of them based in Brunei.
2.     Q.G.E (Queen’s Gurkha Engineer)
The Queen’s Gurkha Engineer provides engineering support for the brigade in operation and peace. They are qualified for all engineering field of work. Such as construction of road, bridge, building, bumbling, electricity, field defense, water supply, power tools and demolition. The engineer is one of the robust and skillful source of the brigade who are readily available for the battle field and peace. Without engineering support there are not any possibilities to step on for the battle.
3.     Q.G.S (Queen’s Gurkha Signals)
The queen’s Gurkha Signals provides communication support for the brigade in the war and peace. They are qualified for all kind of communication matter. Such as Radio, Telephone, Satellite system and continue maintained communication for each location of the other unit. Without communication nothing will be happened in the battle and other field also.

4.     Q.O.G.L.R (Queens Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment)
       The Queens Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment is consisting of two department . Own is bribing and another is catering. Both of these provide all logistic support for the brigade . Driving depart specially handle the supply and catering departs responsible to provide food in war and peace for brigade members. The driving department is highly qualified to drive all kind of vehicle and catering department is fully qualify for food and beverage an international level.

5.     G.S.P.S (Gurkha Staff Personal Support)
     Responsibilities of  G.S.P.S is manning of officer and to provide official administrative support for the brigade in war and peace. They are educated persons, they are fully trained for the written and report. They account and secured classified documents within their responsibilities. It is easy to know them clerk or an office secretary.
6.     Band of the Brigade:
Band of the brigade is a part of the Q.O.G.L.R. However their based with the R.G.R in shun Cleft Folkstone Kent. They are musician department for the brigade. They are individual able to compose varieties of music to entertain the brigade members.
·        Qualities of Potential Recruit are as follows:
Manner, attitude, obedience, diligence, sense of humor, labor, positive behave, flexible, tireless, sharp minded, co-operatives, foresighted,  helpful and cheerfulness

·        Current Deployment of British Army:

They have been deploying in Gibralta, Kenya, Folkland, Bosnia, Afganistan, Germany, Brunei, Mali, Kosovo, East timor and Cyprus.

·        INTERVIEW HINTS:
Generally there are three stage of Interviews, they are
1.     Reception: In reception stage the following things are included:- approach , appearance, get-up.
2.     Conduct: In this stage the following things are included:- Documents, Personal Interest, Family Interest, Personal Background, Family Background, Area of Study, Knowledge of own area, General Knowledge of British Army or G.C.S.P.S , Decision making capability, Attitude and manners, Confidentiality and so on.
3.     Conclusion:- In this Stage following things are included:- overall achievement, area of improvements, potentiality , Interaction and Recommendation.
# Always Keep in your mind
Don’t be :
               Worried defender, Irritator, Ignorance, over excited, over queries, over confidence,
Note: Always try to maintain your body language or unnecessary movements or swings of your body parts.

           Always keep your eye contact with interviewer during the interview and never ask your       
              result at last.

17. Where do you live and with whom are you staying there?
18. Tell me what sort of quality need to be an army?

22. What did you select British Army, besides Nepal Army and Indian Army?
23. If there is same facilities and same salary among Nepal Army, Indian Army and British Army,  
      Which army do you want to choose?
24. What would be your reaction if someone comes to argue with you?
25. What would you do if you’re taken by enemy soldier?
26. How can you maintain peace in the world?
27. You appeared to be a bright student, Why don’t you continue your college study?
28. Why do you want leave your country?
29. What will be your reaction if you find your own brother in the battle field as an enemy?
30. What will you do for your village, if you’re selected in the British Army?
31. Do you think that the British Recruitment is fair?
32. Nowadays, there is very high risk in the British Army, Why do you want to be a British Army?
33. What are your success and failures?
34. How do you spend your leisure time?
35. Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years?
36. How long do you think you would serve the British Government if you are recruited?
37. Suppose you are selected in the British Army and you got first salary, how do you spend it?

·        To Do During the Interview:
Ø So your eagerness and keenness to be a British Army.
Ø Remember all the information about your documents
Ø Be calm, honest, polite and make a correct sentence and speak clearly.
Ø Don’t make any bluffing sentence
Ø Make a accurate, brief and correct answer.
Ø Always keep your eye contact with the interviewer.

·        Not to do during the Interview:
Ø Don’t make any negative answer.
Ø Don’t try to collect any sympathy.
Ø Not to blame or complaint others.
Ø Not to make any gesture.

If you don’t know the answers do not take long time. Be honest and tell them you don’t know it or I have no idea sir. Never ask your result.
