After Gulf Countries and Korea the demand for Nepali migrant workers is growing in the international labor market day by day lately. According to SetoPati, Recently the government of Nepal has received labor agreement proposal from the countries like Canada, Brazil and Jordan, said Bharat Subedi, Director General at Ministry of Labor and Employment. News says that Jordan Officials are coming to Nepal to work on the agreements while Canada and Brazil have shown interest in hiring Nepali migrants in the agricultural sector. Likewise, Subedi also said that quota reserved for Nepali migrant workers by the New Zealand government had lapsed for the lack of response from the Nepali side. Which is very sad news for Nepali people who are willing to go to countries like Europe. “ Though New Zealand had reserved only 200 quotas for the Nepali migrant workers. But it lapsed because neither government nor manpower companies worked promptly in fulfilling the quotas,” said Subedi. He further said that the government is looking forward to consolidate labor agreements with 20 countries within a year time.

Countries like Canada, Brazil and Jordan are very developed countries whereas everyday each Nepali is willing to go abroad for work and money. Those countries could be the best destination for all Nepali Worker after South Korea. Well lets see and wait for the official for the process.
